The Chicago Bears have regained confidence Sunday by beating up on the Arizona Cardinals, but now they've lost running back Matt Forte.
Forte exited in the game in the third quarter after re-injuring his troublesome right ankle at the end of a run. Forte was taped up and appeared to be fighting to return to the game, but the Bears were taking no chances with a 28-6 lead.
Forte walked to the locker room with trainers. An announcement he was done for the game soon followed.
Forte is just nine yards shy of his third 1,000-yard rushing season. Before going out, he had 95 total yards and a touchdown.
